GDPR-Compliant by Design: How We Handle Your Data

· Leon Braun

How We Handle Data Privacy

Even a digital drinks ledger processes personal data: names, orders, and balances. This is not a side issue—it is a matter of trust. That is why data privacy was never an afterthought for us or just another box to tick. It has been part of the design from the very beginning.

Data Minimization

We only collect the data that is genuinely required for managing drink accounts and settlements. No unnecessary profiles, no advertising trackers, and no selling of data.

Anonymization on Request

Your data belongs to you. Members can export their data at any time. If a member leaves the club or wants to delete their account, all personal data is anonymized. The accounting history remains intact for bookkeeping purposes, but it can no longer be linked to a real person.

Data Processing Agreement (DPA)

Clear agreements matter. We provide clubs with a Data Processing Agreement (DPA) and openly disclose which service providers we use. You always know who processes what data.

Full Control Over Visibility

Each member decides for themselves whether they appear on the shared tablet. No one is made visible against their will.

Data privacy is not something you advertise and then forget about. It is a principle that guides every decision we make—from passwordless login to anonymization upon account deletion. We treat your data the way we would want our own data to be treated.
