A New Logo for “Beer After Mission”

Where did the old logo come from, and what was the idea behind it?

Like so many things these days, the old logo came from an AI. It wasn't just a matter of saying, “Give me a logo,” but rather asking for something that tied in a bit with my aviation background and the tablist concept. That resulted in a whole series of logos.

Well. But anyway, I'm not a designer, so I just went with the last one for now.

Finally, something worthwhile

My club colleague Diana, however, works in design and photography. Diana has helped out quite a bit in the past. For example, she provided the color palette for light and dark modes, improved some padding, all the icons, and many other small details. She never liked the logo either, so she always promised to design a new one.

So this time, we did it right. Mood board, trying out different ideas, creating vector files. A little back and forth, and we found the perfect logo.
